Shima Enaga - Long-tailed Tit
Long-tailed Tit (Aegithalos caudatus). On the northern Japanese island of Hokkaido, the local race of Long-tailed Tit are known as Shima Enaga, and are sometimes also called "Snow Fairies." Their solid white faces give them a comic, snowman look. Images of Shima Enaga adorn everything from socks and sweaters to candies and cupcakes for tourists.
